Duffus Light Spectrum

Duffus Castle, Moray ~ resplendent in rainbow light – stands on an elevated mound on what was once the north western shore of the Loch of Spynie. Over the years this loch silted up and was drained to be reclaimed as farmland. A deep moat surrounded the castle, which can still be seen, with a parapet wall and drawbridge. c.1140 to 1705

  1. LOVE this!! I don’t know how I missed it the first time around or with Gunta’s reblog – but I am glad I found it now. This most definitely is the epitome of SPECTACULAR.
