I don’t usually share many portraits, but I have a real passion for capturing candid, natural moments—those genuine expressions when people don’t realise a camera is on them. These shots are from the ill-fated Ballater Highland Games in the summer of 2025. Just half an hour after I took them, a torrential downpour swept in and brought the Games to an abrupt end. It was a real shame, especially as I’d just hit my stride. Hope you enjoy these glimpses into a day that ended far too soon!
