I was young enough to realize what was that by the time it happened. Only time, people I’ve met, reading and other things explained to me all that terrible invasion.
I must admit this was news to me as I was only 5 year old when it happened – but this was an exhibition by Magnum photographer Josef Koudelka and boy did he capture the terror of the event. An incredible set of images depicting a terrifying invasion.

Unfortunately, the invaders behave the same nowadays in Ukraine.
I hear you – a shameful and unnecessary situation.
It is long story to discuss on WP. Anyway, at least we have to remember all these terrible events and do whatever we can to prevent them.
