This was a fun sequence (worth a look on a large screen) that I shot a while back – it shows a match about to go out, then the smoke trail being frozen, and finally, a record of the afterglow that lasts for no more than a couple of seconds – I may well have a further go with the posh macro lens that I have acquired since taking this sequence. Yes, I can imagine what could be next! They are so beautiful. How interesting photography/working with a camera, a simple event can turn to a great artistic view… I loved it. Hi Nia, I just enjoy trying stuff – some things work some don’t – its the process for me. Have the idea – carry it out and then publish. Good fun. I am starting to fancy trying more still life shots – we shall see.
