When the weather is as beautiful as this, it’s the perfect time to take out the drone for a flight. Can you imagine what it was like when the first train arrived in Cullen in 1886? The last train departed way back in 1968? Only a few of you may remember those times. This aerial view provides a great overview of the town, the beach, the harbour, and the Seatown. Homes in Seatown are rarely put up for sale; when they do, they are quickly sold. Nowadays, the viaduct has been turned into a walking and cycling path that offers amazing elevated views of the town and coastline. It’s one of my favourite spots along the stunning Moray coast.
What a beautiful town! Lucky inhabitants 🙂
I think, there is a nice trekking place close to the town as well, just seen at the top right side of the picture…
What a great place for enjoying the views!!!
Thank you so much for sharing, Scott …
Agree a great location and some history to add to its story…. but one has to wonder, at Cullen and so many places, if the changes over time, have real meant progress. Cynical maybe ?
