2. We’ve passed this site a few times on our way up to the west coast and western isles. Great composition Scott

3. Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday are always moving….but the older I get the more futile the tragic loss of life seems, the trouble no one ever seems to have learned the lessons. War still continues and the killing, maiming and destruction continues. At least after WW2 we had the conscience to try and put right the events for the survivors….. now we just abandon folk.

4. A touching post Scott! We owe so much to those that have given their lives in conflicts all around the world striving to make things better for all. So sad as a species we seem incapable of learning the lessons of the past.
