I love digging into the archive and finding something that was overlooked or not felt of suitable quality to post. In all honesty, this is not the original image. I have replaced the sky, which was flat and overcast. Knowledge experience and improved software have allowed this to happen – anyway, I feel with the improved sky-wet sidewalk and a fantastic structure, this image has credibility in 2023 – Enjoy

Hi Sue – I am glad you like the mono – I do feel in colour, they were rather unexceptional.
To heck with purists…. it is the final result that matters – does it look good and convey what you want ? Then fine. It was in my view worth digging around in the archives 👌👍
Lovely David – I think you are correct; the Camera Club and judging really improved my technical know-how, but in the end, it cramps creativity and often constrains you.
Oh, this makes me dream of returning to the UK, Scott.
