My favourite area of Scotland’s mainland never fails to deliver – even on flat grey days – the ultimate wild space, which draws me repeatedly. Inverpolly contains some of the oldest rocks on earth and has a unique landscape of mountains, lochs, flora and fauna in one of the last wilderness areas of Scotland. Few roads provide the opportunity to experience the wide open spaces.
