The Falls of Lora are situated six miles northeast of Oban on the West Coast of Scotland. They are located at the entrance of Loch Etive, directly below Connel Bridge. These remarkable falls become visible when the tide level in the Firth of Lorn drops below the water level in Loch Etive, creating currents and waves that fascinate kayakers, divers, and tourists.
oooo nice!
i remember watching some emergency training there some years ago…
Cheers Graham – I was back there a few days later and it was wild – some guys playing Kayaks – off their heads the would disappear for several seconds falling off the wall of water.
