This is the purpose-built War Museum in Gdansk, Poland. It has over 5000m2 of exhibition space and is free admission on Tuesdays. The leading exhibition consists of three narrative blocks: “The Road to War,” “The Terror of War,” and “The Long Shadow of War.” The exhibitions illustrate the Polish experience of war against a background of the broader European and world context. For me, it is the presentation not just of the building but the whole space – beautiful, striking & modern with a purpose. Enjoy
nice architecture!
you would think humanity would have learned the lessons of war by now…

So beautiful, I admire architects who try to exceed the limits of architecture. The Architectonic Studio Kwadrat did great. And you captured a beautiful composition between these gray (ventilation ?) columns… I have visited this studio, dear Scott, this is really great architecture… I wished to visit there. Impressive for me, I want to make a post about them. Thank you, have a nice day, Love, nia
