Okay some changes then I have changed the name of the blog - have no fears your subscriptions etc are all intact - I thought this particular photograph suitable for this change as it is the sea lock which is located at the junction where the Moray Firth and Beauly Firth merge and via this lock you can enter the Great Glen and ultimately on to Loch Ness the home of Nessie. Some changes then – I have altered the name of the blog – have no fears your subscriptions etc are all intact – in changing the name I am aiming to build my Google SEO. I thought this particular photograph suitable for this change as it is the sea lock which is located at the junction where the Moray Firth and Beauly Firth merge and you can enter the Great Glen onwards ultimately to Loch Ness (home of Nessie). Rachel – space hits it on the button for me – I am spoiled by the large expanse of water and great beaches (all of which are on very shallow gradients) which generate the fabulous reflection and ultimately the feeling of space. Here however the space has not been created – i just is spacious – I do enjoy the Firth areas.

  6. Great photo – I love the lines. I also like the blog name change if for no other reason than I don’t have to try to remember what Scott Marshall called his blog (I always had to look it up). With the new name we will all be expecting even greater photography. Did I accidentally just put pressure on you?

    1. my first uncontrolled blog grin of 2013 Lyle – brilliant – One of the reason’s I changed it was I doubt very few people understood ‘Lathail’ it was Gaelic for daily – and I moved my second blog to become a archive gallery. But in the end it was too smart and I don’t think most people got it – so I decided a rethink was in order – thank you and Happy New Year – Scott
