At this time of year the days are very short here in Moray and a little darkness can fill your mood – this dusk image seemed to capture that feeling – a lone tree peaking through twilight mist – spooky in a sensual way…….
Great atmospheric image Scott. In photography “less” is most definately “more”
Jim thanks for checking me out
Wow, that is an amazing photo, well done 🙂
Gorgeous!
This is one of my favourites from your recent uploads. Cracking shot.
I am flattered – I had a feeling when I took it that it was possibly a little gem but you are never sure until you see peoples reaction
Absolutely gorgeous shot Scott 🙂
Time stops
No words, no actions
just being lost in this dusty image
I can watch forever
Who is painter, sometimes I think deep 🙂
Thank you it was great shot again. Love, nia
Well that is genuinely appreciated but I am poor at carrying out their requirements – perhaps I can use your award as a spur to get my act together – smiling this end many thanks. Scott
I’m terrible at doing awards posts. I have a list as long as my arm. “Never do today, that which you can put off until tomorrow.” 🙂
thanks – feel a lot better to hear that 😀
Amazing! The mood it creates…that autumn-ish, thoughtful, with a touch of sadness, mystery.
Love it when a post generates a response like this – chauffed thanks
What a stunning image – I love this.
It is funny isn’t it the doubt that crawls inside your head. When I took this I was sure I was on to a winner. but doubt crept in as I posted it.
I think it’s one of your best – so don’t listen any more to the creeping doubt!
Oh, I love that song, and the movie was really gripping. 8o Love the misty scene. I can feel the chill. Winter draws on. 🙂
Yes winter draws on – I often name pictures after lyrics or in this case films
Wow…very compelling…I love it.
compelling and evocative against this one post – I will struggle to follow this then, cheers Scott
I’m pretty confident that you’ll do just fine. 😉
I can hear the horseman with his galloping horse….. scary.
you are not scared – Nicol you are a strong person – a traveller
Okay, if you say it.. 😉
After creating a mystical photo like that, you must tell us what happens next!!!
Lyle you are always challenging me lol
I guess that’s what happens when my limited repertoire of adjectives gets used up!!
Truly outstanding image Scott! Well done sir!
Praise of that nature from pro like yourself Phil – smiling this end
I can hear a dog howling in the distance…could it be the fabled Hound of the Baskervilles? Wonderfully evocative, Scott!
evocative we like
That is one of my favourite songs, and this is gorgeous too. I don’t know how you do it, Scott. You can take the simplest scene and make it sing…!
well I dont know either – so if you can bottle it – we will be laughing 😀

Thank you for your words – deep is good.
I edited my awards blog to include you too. http://adinparadise.wordpress.com/2012/11/14/blog-of-2012-award/
