Come on there has been at least a few shots since my last proper Lighthouse – this however has 2 red rings and some wicked moody sky – seriously what more do you want from me 🙂 Oh did I mention we were off to see Wishbone Ash in Concert – enjoy
Fabulous pic, Scott. That lighthouse would be so proud. 🙂
Hey thank you Sylvia it put on it’s best clothes for definate.
A very nice lighthouse
Thanks Nicol it is a wonderful lighthouse
No such thing as ‘just.’ You’re the only blogger I know that posts them! And I enjoy them especially when you plant them in front of moody skies:)
Outstanding Scott!
cheers Phil, the light was screaming
Wonderful Lighthouse – and WA into the bargain (albeit with only AP left from…. good grief, 1970!) RH
On stage – sometime world – the king will come – scarily professional musicianship
Best era (1st 3 albums)! Inverness tonight?
Yes – finished with Phoenix and Blowing Free from the front row – sublime
Gorgeous shot there, Scott! Those broody skies sure add to it.
Thanks Gunta – the broody sky and I also liked the yellow lichen on the wall plus off course the red bands
Another for that Book Collection…..enjoy the concert
The concert was the bees knees David – and yes it is another for that book
Just another cracker. Have a good time at the concert!
I do love the red bands on this lighthouse Lorna, the concert was fantastic we had a cracking night – must better than I envisaged.
Not just another lighthouse at all, Scott! One of yours! 🙂
Souter I presume? Enjoy the concert.
It is actually Tarbet Ness Lighthouse across the Firth from Covesea, the concert btw was way beyond my expectations Jo thanks
Funnily enough, earlier today was writing a haiku about the lighthouse of Alexandria and your photo of the Tarbat Ness lighthouse flashed in my mind. And here you are, Scott, with another beautiful photo that makes me go in the “awe” mood… 🙂
Ah the famed lighthouse of Alexandria now that must have been something to behold Ese – I recall watching program about a scientist who used satellite imagery to predict ancient city remains – it was fascinating
Shape and Texture… yes indeed! Beautiful Image.
