Royal Air Force Typhoon #RAF100

So this is not a subject you often see on my blog despite my background – I suppose I was used to seeing wonderful aircraft scenes daily that I became blasé about being around them and forgot to actually photograph them. This set came from a recent trip where the Focus Photography Group went on a visit to the RAF Lossiemouth, unfortunately, we were the wrong side of a winter sun so struggled against tough lighting conditions. That said it was a beautiful winters day, with a little moisture lying on the runway which generated a lovely water plume when the jets took off or landed over it. The water plume made for a very dramatic scene. Enjoy 🙂
