These are incredible, Scott! Can you believe I’ve never been to Glasgow, but would love to go! It looks fantastic.
On a more personal note, I absolutely love self and Mum.
Great montage!
Thanks Graham was aiming to show some of Glasgow those not so familar with the city may like – cheers
Fabulous photos, Scott. What a wonderful and fascinating mix of subjects. 🙂
Thank you being a Glaswegian I am a little biased but oddly enough I dont know the City that well so getting out and about has helped.
Stunning collection Scott.
Cheers glad you think so – have you funded my 3 month phototour of Rig World yet 😉
This is a very nice collection of images – makes me wish we’d had more time in Glasgow.
Yes it is a lovely eclectic mix – well worth a walk around on your next visit.
Such a lovely series. I have never been to Glasgow. I know, shame on me! Love the tunnel and the green stairs. The reflected machinery is super too. Might I be cheeky and suggest it could have even more impact if you straighten the vertical divisions between the plates of glass so that the contrast between form and distorted reflection is even more potent? Super seeing.
I don’t mind your suggestion at all – I welcome ideas in fact – may well start a post encouraging constructive critiscm
I especially like straight ahead! A reflection of the pathways taken…
Yes I love that too but so many people have shots from this location now…. have you seen the tiled Gallery – i just tweaked it – great layout very effective.
Some great shots there (including some of my favorites). The “Old Within New” reminds me much of Boston. Then again the “Self” capture is brilliant! Wishing you all the best!
I was very proud of the ‘selfie’ tbh, must have been one of more creative moments lol
Very eclectic Scott.
eclectic we like 😀 didn’t know how many Glasgow shots I had (as I only visit now and again)
Its a great range of images – hope you sell many. Have you managed to sell any on Photo 4 Me?
I have 4 sales on Photo4me some on Redbubble and a one on 500PX – but been focusing on organising tagging and watermarking. Focussing less on sales and more on spreading the word. P4me will continue to grow but currently is a limited market place. Worth studying the sales patterns. What do use?
My problem is a lack of time to maintain submissions and ensure keywording is as full as possible, I have in the past dabbled and that gets you nowhere.
Have images (but not many) on Alamy, Shutterstock, Photo4Me, RedBubble, 500px and made the sum total of about $3.
Think I need to focus more if I want any success with stock sales but don’t enjoy it as much as getting out and shooting.
completely agree that getting out and shooting is what it’s all about but my job is full on and the photography happens at the weekends and evenings & this time of year that is limited) but I like the admin part too (I am a bit sad). Killed facebook and became more focussed (more quality less posts etc) about 6 months ago – so I have a plan. Hence the enrolment on the course. I am looking forward to trying different styles over the next 2 years. Also cant wait to have all the time to give this a proper go.
Tremendous series Scott!
Cheers – I had a reason and pulled it together quickly to try and show diversity but some favs in there – more mono than I thought I had ha ha
That’s a result Scott! Well done! 🙂
Yes it does sound good – I will check them out
