I have been hankering at taking a minimalist soft focus image – which was inspired by work from a few of my fellow bloggers. I wont name names at this point but those who follow similar artists to myself will have a reasonable idea. Anyway something a little different which evokes the moodiness of Scotland at it’s best. Enjoy
I definitely enjoyed this shot, Scott! I had to check it out when you mentioned on your comment that you posted a foggy image too.
It’s really beautiful. It’s amazing how fog can add so much to a landscape. It transforms the mood and adds a little mystery to it.
definitely adds mood which I strive for but is not always achieved – i like the mystery aspect Gracie – excellent descriptive language.
Una Gran Fotografía,… Sin Duda Tambien Servirá De Inspiración Para Algunos Compañeros Que Te Visitamos…
muchas gracias – thank you so much
Arh….The Scotland we love to hate……or at least the ‘highland dew’. Great shot once again.
Aye David there was plenty water around but also calm and very atmospheric. I am going to be trying some of your tree shots too any tips to get the depth?
It really sets a great mood
Cheers Lyle – as I said I am being inspired by several bloggers to try a variety of shots
gorgeous capture
Thanks Chloe – really appreciated – comments are always valued.
So Scottish… love it!
Welcome to my Photoblog and thanks for taking the time to comment. I agree it is a classic dricht Scottish Day 😉
I am drawn to these moody sort of images. Fantastic shot, my friend! It’s great fun seeing us all stretch our wings.
In order to grow we must stretch ourselves and I desperately want to be able to capture and share some of the unique weather and locations we have here so ever onwards – thanks Gunta
I’m reminded of the ‘Night Before Christmas’ poem. The second line reads…
“Not a creature was stirring; not even a mouse.” 😉
Aye it was remarkably calm – very little noise either – I enjoy being out there when it is like this Carolyn
A really magical photo, Scott. A soul-soothing scene for sure.
soul soothing is a wonderful phrase thank you
Great shot Scott, love the low cloud hanging over the loch
It was very atmospheric Chris and calming
Smashing image Scott. You’ve certainly captured a moment and a mood. 🙂
Thanks so much Chillbrook, like you I am trying my hand a different stuff just now and quiet enjoying it
