It has been a while since I shared a local Lossiemouth image with you – this is nothing special compositionally – however it does for me perfectly reflect the colours often seen on the Moray Coast – subtle hues of colour the very essence of Lossiemouth – Pale Aqua – enjoy
Thanks Marcie we are quiet spoiled here at certain times of the year. Trying to keep the foreground interesting is the greatest challenge.
Find some pink in the sky and somehow it becomes special.
That is very true Lyle interesting that in the Photographic competition world they are less loved
Lovely image, and half a world away I’m busy processing sunrise shots I took a week ago with similar colouring. I do love how in England you have all these man made protuberances entering the water to give scale to the image.
Cheers Lee – I do like sunrise shots mainly due to the briefest burst of amazing light that you get, Interesting that in the Photographic competition world they are less loved.
Nothing special, in a pretty special sort of way, Scott. 🙂 My favourite kind of photo.
Jo – glad you like it – I suppose these are the sort of shots that grow on me.
My favorite palette. Love the more subtle shades. Beautiful shot, Scott.
I agree with the palette but not always easy to capture the subtlety
Yet another of your masterpieces, Scott… The range of colours is magnificent!
always generous Ese
It is great how different places have their own light (or may be we just imagine it). A Moray image
I think we do imagine it or perhaps we become familiar with the way light plays in our own familiar places. I know over the last few years I have paid a lot of attention as to the movement of light throughout the year.
Great job
many thanks
What an absolutely breathtaking sunset. WOW!
