After a wee break I am back with one of my favorite locations – off I went with my tripod hoping for some late sunshine only to find this gloriously positioned row boat. I hope you agree it added to the image – enjoy

I’m loving your new WordPress theme, Scott. It really showcases your images beautifully… This one is no exception! 🙂
That’s great Carolyn it does offer large scale images an simple navigation – which works now I am running a website as my portfolio and this as interaction and current stuff. Glad to see you back too 🙂
A beautiful scene Scott and a lovely photograph. That boat in the composition is perfect!
Really lucky that it was there and fortunate that I got some light on the boat as the heat had gone out of the rest of the image.
Fantastic scenery! I’d love to see more of Scotland, I’ve only been to Glasgow.
Well I hope you get the chance, be aware though it is different every time you travel you often get several seasons in one day. I was brought up around Glasgow and have live all over the UK – however the last 9 years have been spent in the highlands and I wont be moving 🙂 Please look through the rest of my portfolio.
I forgot to add….that a ‘proper’ photographer would have taken a pot of red paint for the boat, draped a couple of Fly roads over the stern and even perhaps a fisherman’s creel on the seat……oh! gosh that sounds too much like a competition judge!!
I also echo Michael Doran’s comment.
David trying to press a few buttons is so not your style 🙂
I also meant to add that a couple of Brown Trout draped over a wicker creel would be just the perfect finishing touch…..maybe next time 🙂
Stunning!
Yes it was many thanks

The row boat was the icing on the cake
Great shot. Have missed seeing your posts.
Michael that’s great to hear – I am hoping my work life balance has improved to allow me to get out and about – I trust you are well and enjoying the Spring 🙂
Completely beautiful, Scott. And I’m thinking (a) boat and (b) trout! RH
Yes I believe it is a brown trout lake – tasty
