We’ve been on the West Highland Railway (in fact it was it was the Jacobite) from Fort William to Mallaig…….great trip, especially across the Glenfinnan Viaduct
Yes it is but I would never have covered it in the depth had the company not being paying 🙂
Someone will love the location….I am told train enthusiasts are ‘nearly’ as mad as photographers ! 🙂
The chap is convinced the proimity of the line will appeal to a real enthusiast
Not sure I’d want to live where a train rattles by within feet of the house, but perhaps there’s folks out there who feel differently. Great shots, though!
I agree too close but what a sight on a sunny day
Great fun. 🙂 I have a photographer friend who’s been working on Sir Nigel Gresley. He’s like a small boy!
Yes I get that been down the depot – they are all enthusiasts and the volume of people travelling is frightnening
You have a great eye, Scott. And yes, the weather behaved beautifully!
Ha you are generous – 10 minutes later it was flat and dull – I was lucky to get what I did…
Wow, what a place to live if you like trains. Great shot of the steam engine in that first picture, and that blue sky is beautiful. I bet there’s a lot of interest when the property goes on the market.
Yes and just across the railway lines is Rum and Eigg – tough life
