Lets End the year in Colour

Looking back over the year - I feel I have moved forward particularly my night photography and composition - I know that I have not been so prolific this year in fact there are many images I have not published because I just don't feel the are the standard I want. I have messed around with tonemapping - so I guess it has been more an experimental year. I have high hope photographically for 2014 I hope to be in wilder locations at just the right time of day for the most intriguing light I can lay my hands on. In the middle of the year I am planning to upgrade my kit (which will be exciting) - so I am hoping 2014 will be "Scott's year of creativity" stay with me it could be a fun ride....... slainte mhor

    1. I am glad you enjoy my comments – I am bursting with energy for this year – I just need to pull it together find a direction and set off – starting back on here after a pause may just be what is required.

  5. Good Luck…the right place at the right time! You may well need all your meteorological knowledge and all those logistical skills you have been using in the ‘real’ job but you also will need something else. Best illustrated by refereeing to one of my wildlife photographer colleagues who, when publishing his blog images always includes the metadata……but on the last line always adds the words ‘and Luck’. Best wishes for the New Year and New life…we look forward to seeing the results of your explorations.

    1. I do believe my Met knowledge will help but I want to expand my cloud knowledge 🙂 luck yes lots of luck required David you have been a brilliant supporter this past year so I hope I can move forward as I want – forward and onward – I wish you and your family a happy and healthy 2014.
