    1. Isabella you are doing far better than me I have 3 images to reply to and desperately need some new material – glad you have caught up – I look forward to reciprocating – Scott

  1. Wishing you and your family a wonderful Christmas and a very prosperous New Year. Good luck with your new adventure, I hope it brings a smile to your face every day x

    1. Cheers Sylvia – I cant believe my reply is so tardy from way back in Dec – still great to see your re-energised blog is moving forward so well.

  2. Best wishes to you and yours…..2014 is definitely going to be very different for you. Piece of advice from an old sage who also chose to go it alone as a freelance. Make the first rule ‘Have fun’ it makes the rest of the chores so much easier….and if you feel you need advice or help, then just ask, there are enough folk around who are always willing to help.

    1. Lorna – well I have yet to get out and about – Mandy’s birthday was this weekend so it feels like I have only just finished Christmas and oh my middle sons 18th is coming up in the next 10 days so I think I will wait for February

      1. Plenty of time yet, and the light will be bettery by then. I hope the birthdays were/are jolly occasions. That’s a lot going on at once, I always thought my birthday was close enough to Christmas, but it’s not till the end of January.

  3. Lovely image Scott, really like the composition. All the best for Christmas and New Year. I’m intrigued by your comment about 2014 being different….

    1. Mark glad you like the composition – I thought hard about this angle although the cost was dark walls – this year will be different for me as I am retiring from the RAF after 31 years so no uniform and lots more time to concentrate on photography – Happy New Year

      1. Happy New Year to you both! I’m in Calgary right now on a special project but when I get back home, I’m going to be doing some research on bagpipes! My son is a bagpiper! Seeing your photography gives me inspiration!!!
