What a summer Scotland has seen – I tend to find this is my least productive period of the year as the images don’t jump out at you like the do in winter and spring, equally I don’t post too much of lowland Scotland (rolling hills etc) but I felt this view had more than enough to let your eyes wander over it. From the simple reflection from the clouds across the grasses being washed different shades by the light and breeze – finally although there is a road alongside the loch it doesn’t intrude  in to the landscape and you still have the feeling of solitude and being alone…..

    1. cheers Phil, unusual colours for this area certainly sunshine was a surprise – but as I have alluded too previously – it has been perhaps the best summer since my childhood.

  1. Beautiful photo, I wonder if people appreciate how hard it is capturing landscapes and how amazing you really are !!!!!!!

    1. David I love every season – I just don’t like extended versions of the same thing – I like a bit variety in weather. – I also like seeing locations in guises that previously I have not – keeps it fresh – I suppose
