So this year has had many firsts for me – street photography and now still life – I set out to move beyond my comfort zone of landscape (although even here – I tried long exposure – whereas I hadn’t been a fan) – I set out to stretch myself and try different genre’s – I have even tried my hand at event photography. I am hoping they add to my repertoire and that I can expand my knowledge base – I will let you judge 🙂

LOVE IT!
Excellent thanks
Surely you can do anything – and good! Always love your photography – hang on experimenting!
Well it is a second career so I aim to be learning for as long as I take pictures – just thought a bit of diversity would be helpful
Love this!
It’s good to try different things and get positive feedback many thanks
Lovely!
Excellent many thanks
Nicely done Scott!
cheers Sir
I would never have guessed this shot was one of yours, but it’s great that you keep tackling new things and stretching yourself. I remember the shot you took of ladies on a bench, I think that was the first time I was really struck by your range as a photographer. Then, when you began showing us wonderful architectural shots I was quite astonished by how good they were. Your landscapes have always been incredible and I love seeing them, but don’t stop surprising us. 🙂
It very kind to say so – but the reason I have started trying stuff out of my comfort zone – was that I felt I was stagnating creatively – technically my images have improved no end – mainly because I am editing 60+ images every day and I have learnt via trial and tribulation – but I am to keep trying stuff – I want to get better.
Brilliant Scott!!! You continue to inspire me to explore new ideas!!
that is good – I am being inspired by fellow Camera Club members
Great shot Scott, but please tell me that’s in a G&T…….;0)
Seriously, I live in Speyside old bean 😂
