Hows about this for a glorious Autumn Ferry Trip – I was waiting to cross to the Ardnamurchan Peninsula for another tough assignment. Fortunately the ferry was across the Loch giving me plenty of time to set up the shot. You always get a shot here due to variety of weather conditions you experience but I was set up to place the lighthouse nicely on the deck of the Ferry – you have do something to kill time when you have to work as hard as I do. Enjoy

Nicely done. Love the rolling low cloud and those reflections.
It is great when it so calm here – it is rather narrow and generates a strong tide – which means you don’t see it like this too often.
That looks great 🙂
Cheers Joshi – thanks for taking time to comment.
A tough life, but someone’s gotta do it!
Love the fog hovering on the hilltop and the reflection in the water!
Yep somebody has to do it and I am thankful it is me. This year has been a joy with some cracking weather to boot. No doubt winter will make us pay.
I do wish I had a £1 (or Euro) for every time I have crossed the Ferry….and maybe £5 for every time I have had to wait in the long lines of vans and tourists. 🙂 It is only a short trip but still exciting in its own way.
I like arriving when the ferry is on the other side and I can take some time to shoot something. The busy summer period was over and it was mainly the locals – I was about 3rd in line so had plenty of time.
Fabulous shot! 👏🏻
Cheers Sylvia – a point and shoot in perfect conditions.
