Up early but not that early (lazy boy sunrise – season). I just wanted to share the fantastic subtle light variations in this image captured on a Nikon D850 full-frame DSLR with a 24mm to 85mm Nikon VR (I paid about £300)- shot at 24mm F8 ISO 64 10 second exposure.
I am planning to replace this lens as I am now at the point where I am aware of the limitations of the glass. I have been shooting this lens for about seven years. But time has come to upgrade and keep up with the quality of the sensor. The 24mm -70mm equivalent would cost me around £1500 new. However, I am not sure I will get another zoom, and I think a new prime is probably the cheaper and better quality option and a lot lighter.
