I apologize for not replying to all of your recent comments but I wanted to share an image before departing for the weekend. I promise to catch up early next week. I wish all the mothers a happy Mothering Sunday so make sure you spoil your Mum for at least one day of the year :-)Anyway I dont post many Black and White landscapes but I thought the contrast in this scene lent itself to some mono treatment. I am rather pleased with it. I edited it in Lightroom 4 which I bought at student rates (I am a student after all) using my paypal account generated from my sales so I actually earned this software which gave me areal thrill. I am hoping the reinvestment will pay for itself. Have agreat weekend everyone and happy blogging.

  5. You must be tiring of my compliments, Scott… Here we go again…!
    I see many images by many photographers; many of which are extremely good. However, Scott, I never fail to be ‘silenced’ by your images. You know what I mean??? I mean they ‘entrance’; they are themselves so still, they capture me….

    Well done to you: Earning your software I imagine would be such a thrill… 😉

  6. Hi Scott. I’m planning to pass by there in July so It’s good to see an interpretation which works very well. I just sent you an email and you appear to have missed my previous one about a week ago.

    1. Got everything here Murray and we shall see in the middle of the year – I will come up with some suggestions and accommodation recommendations shortly.

    1. Yes I thought so on the Lightroom acquisition, I did trial it about 6 months ago but felt the RAW plugin gave me as must – though I realise now that it did not – got a real buzz using paypal 😀

    1. I did the 30 day trial awhile back so have feel for how it works but really want to use it to catalog stuff more efficiently- and the metadata/watermark aspect too.
