Apologies rather busy just now and not getting out and about so have been delving in to the archives and this appeared.I was drawn to the sun attempting to break through the thick cloud over the Cairngorm’s – with limited effect.
Firstly my apologies in being so tardy in such a late response my excuse is moving and all the associated stress associated with it – the long and the short is I have not been out and about as alluded to in this post and worst still I have been atrocious in responding to you wonderful comments. I will be honest and say that I don’t expect to be back on track for about another month. But I shall get sorted and I will start posting and responding bang on time.
For now to allow me acknowledge you all and explain where I am please accept this en masse response.
I love blogging and sharing my photography and being inspired by yours. So please keep coming around my blog or enter The Digital Light Rooms competitions and I will see you there ( I am one of the 5 judges)
Thanks once again for patience . Best Regards Scott
No need to apologize… we look forward to having you back on track, but in the meantime, hope all is well!
Love it. Peaceful. Would me nice to be there now .

Stunning image, Scott. I dream of producing photos like this one. Bless you.
Glad you enjoy my shots Lizze – you will get those shots you have an eye and it is the passion that matters – good luck
Wonderful, Scott. I love all the subtle shades of grey and purple.
Aye typical weather several systems all fighting for domination
If I had a tripod with me, a panoramic would have delivered the most amazing image – thank you for commenting you have several shots I admire – In classic leadership terms I get new ideas from bloggers and then give it a go myself.
Wonderful atmosphere and beautiful reflections! So serene.
serene is an excellent choices of words to describe this scene thanks
Terrific scenic Scott

Take care; enjoy doing more of your wonderful photography; congrats for being one of the 5 judges (more kudos to you); hope the move hasn’t left you frazzled; take your time (we’re not going anywhere), and remember to ‘have fun’…. 🙂
Carolyn – I can only have fun once order is restored – lol
Hopefully then, that won’t take long…. 😉
More moods … and lines.
I like my moody shots Lyle as you have obviously gathered
Yes, maybe that’s because I like them too.
touché dear Sir
A very nice photograph Scott! Love the way the mist is lying.
Cheers it is all about the weather in this – colours are flat – but hey
This looks cold, brrr. Interesting composition, with the various different plains, lots to see 🙂
yep lots going on – I am glad I published it in the end – just wasn’t sure initially
Loch Morlich. memories…many of course over the years but the best was when I discovered a frozen Loch on my first visit to the Cairngorms. Before you were born may be as it was the winter they opened the Ski Slopes and the Aviemore Centre. That is what I was there for, to cover those early days. Still one of my favourite areas, be it Deeside or Speyside and of course everything in-between. I hope this east wind soon turns and spring can arrive.
I said it was here David and would you believe it -snow has returned – I trust your wife’s hip-op has gone well and she is already out on the golf course
What a wonderful image!
