I began as an amateur photographer, and that passion soon became a full-time career in property photography. Owning a business in tough economic times meant my work absorbed all my energy, greatly reducing my recreational photography, as reflected in the infrequent blog posts over the past few years.
After focusing mainly on my property photography business, last weekend I set aside time for myself and disappeared with just my camera gear, sadly venturing into the bland, uninteresting light a photographer dreads. Yet, at the end of my two days, the clouds broke, the tide went out, and calmness personified revealed itself.
