Well as we draw towards the end of the year – time for a little reflection. I saw Lyle Khran (Kranpix) blog his favourite images and seek fellow bloggers to vote for their favourite. I recall last year thinking the same thing – oh that would be a good idea. Then when I sat down and thought about it I havent been very prolific this year unless you want some property photos to select – hardly inspiring – But anyway I thought lets have a look – so I did and here is the result – I have selected 9 images – all you guys have to do is take the time to look at the images then scroll to the bottom and vote – the PC does the rest. I would really appreciate you voting as I am intrigued to know if we have similar taste… So please give it a scroll and press the voting button. Thanks
No 1 – From the Darkness (Vote at Bottom please)
No 2 – Shadow Angelical (Vote at Bottom please)
No 3 – Perfect Imbalance (Vote at Bottom please)
No 4 – Boat o Brig (Vote at Bottom please)

A beautiful way to bring in the New Year ~ great series of photos and wishing you continued success in your photography. Cheers to a great 2016.
Great idea! Might have to copy it. And a super set of pictures. Happy New Year.
I think I need a good Scottish expression to describe them all but I’m lacking the words. I loved the reverse reflection on Perfect Imbalance and really wanted to give that unique photo my vote but eventually was swayed by the colours and lines in From the Darkness that drew me in.
Did the poll results diverge widely from your opinions?
Great idea by the way:)
I hope you have a wonderful Christmas with your family!
Hey the Lyle the poll was wildly off the mark but no surprise – I am looking at images far to technically these days (the influence of the camera club and judging – I suppose) – I trust you had a great festive period and are looking forward to enjoying 2016 (-:
Good grief! How to select from these? That first one had my name all over it, but then I fell a little in love with 3, and what about 7! You’re a cracking photographer, Scott! Merry Christmas to you and my very best wishes for 2016. 🙂
Good as long as you enjoyed deciding aye I hope your 2016 brings you and your family joy and smiles.
Lots of good ones here. I couldn’t resist 3. There’s something magical about the reflections and patterns. Then again 6 gave me one of my favorite themes. Love the light and reflections in 5. You actually make it a bit difficult to choose!
ha ha – correct answer you can come back in fact as my second top commentator of all time – you have to come back – thanks for all your support have a great New Year 🙂
All excellent Scott, but I’m a sucker for the sort of light depicted in the first image, so that gets my vote.
good stuff my kinda shot too but I would been slated for it at the club – so you are right stick with your instinct and gut feelings – have a great New Year
I just wanted you to know how much you have inspired me over the years. You have opened my eyes to all the amazing possibilities that are found in looking through a lens. Thank you very much. Looking forward to the adventures that are awaiting us in 2016. By the way, heading over to you side of the world again next year. Scotland seems to be our home away from home.
Well that has to be comment of the year flattered and appreciated all your support – keep blogging and most of all keep taking photos – you just don’t know what is around the corner – Happy New Year – when it comes.
The journey continues! Will be celebrating Hogmanay on my side of the world!!! Happy New Year!
Great pictures!!!! #3 is my favorite, it was so ‘wow’, if i look at it first!! Wonderful!!
So generous – thanks for looking but especially for commenting – Happy New Year
🙂 Happy New Year to you, too!!
Nice idea, Scott. I was torn between #3 and #7 but in the end the painterly quality of #7 did it for me.
Well I pinched it from Lyle Khran at Krahnpix his blog is well worth a look if you don’t already know him – Happy New Year Graham
All the best to you for 2016!
All quite good – voting for #8 if I have to single one out…
Cheers Robert thanks for voting – have a great 2016 – keep blogging
Right so! Likewise to you my friend.
Almost impossible to choose – all classics in their own way!
You can definitely return in 2016 🙂 Happy New Year when it comes.
So difficult to choose one one, Scott, but #1 got my vote. All so fabulous. 🙂
Brilliant thank you for looking and voting – but most of all for all your comments over the period. I am proud to say you are my 3rd most frequent commenter of all time – so I need you back next year 🙂 All the best to you and your family for 2016 and keep blogging 🙂
Done. Loved 8 and 9. You didn’t let me vote twice!
Ha ha that is so frustrating isn’t it. I wanted people to be forced to choose – badness really – Happy New Year when it comes David 🙂
Dear Scott, your photography always inspires me and also makes me excited. You are amazing photographer. It is not easy to vote for one of them 🙂 Really… But yes, there is one of them, I don’t know why it impressed me so much but I voted. Seems that we all thought same… But I wonder yours too ? Thank you, Blessing and Happiness, love, nia
